About Us
I was first introduced to the breed in 2012 while looking through the internet for different dog breeds. I found Nea in a really bad time in my life and she got me through it. I ended up getting Nea without ever meeting another of the breed and it was serendipity that she was basically everything I was looking for and fell immediately in love. Nea is definitely the pack leader and is constantly watching over the other dogs. Since then we have met a bunch of different Vallhunds and are amazed at all the variations of personalities this breed comes with.
We were so excited when we were offered Ro nearly a year later; she's a great addition to our family and is just a complete goofball! She's always running around and making us laugh. She gets this thing we call "twitchy butt syndrome" when she gets really excited about something and twitches so bad she wacks herself in the face with her tail! She loves everyone she meets, especially kids! She also gives the most kisses out of all the dogs.
Bev was our happy accident. I had been hoping for a red since before Ro and when I was offered Bev of course I accepted! She is one of the sweetest, smartest dogs I've ever met. She was very mellow for a puppy and I constantly got questioned about her age. She's also a master escape artist and can get out of basically anything, including jumping over a 4 foot fence. She's also the loudest, most vocal out of all the dogs and a little cuddle monster.
Cinder was from Nea's first litter. She is full of energy and constantly looking for something to do. At six months old she's already a work horse. She's the most shy out of all four dogs and definitely likes to watch. She's got a good nose on her and super smart. She's a very quick learner and ready for anything!
